Yes I totally agree. K-Bro holds so many Lakers records such as missed shots, missed free throws, turnovers, and of course he shattered that record of most hometown fans booing a player on their own team at one time. Kwame one of the greatest centers of all time?? You must be huffin the same thing that the Pats fans are. That is just ridiculous. Paul Gasol is a way better player than Kwame. If you are a true lakers fan, you would watch the game and see how horrible Kwame is. Kwame sukks. Downtown Kwame Brown?? He gets pulled from the game and yelled at constintley from a usual mellow P-Jackson. He's always in foul trouble,always blowing assignments, and isnt a threat in the post whatsoever. I think this is definately a good trade for the lakers. Gasol is a versatile player that can play either the power forward or the center position. He will certainly benefit the lakers offence. This will also place less burden on Kobe Bryant's scoring. It's great for the triangle offence. I have felt bad for the lakers in the previous playoff seasons. They would always lose to the Suns. I remember one year a last second 3 spoiled the lakers chance of advancing. That was their year to advance. Anyways, presently I feel that Gasol will help the lakers score and win key games while byum and walton are injured. However, when byum and Walton return to the mix, this is a dangerous laker team which has plenty of scoring options. If Byum comes soon enough, they may catch the Suns in the division rankings and hopefully gain some redemption in the playoffs by defeating the suns. The Spurs, Mavs, and Suns are not real west contenders this year. It seems that these teams are packed with veterans but have run out of steam at times. The lakers have the best combination of young and veteran players. Bryant and Fisher have championship experience and will allow ways for the young and new laker acquisitions to blend into the mix. Therefore, the lakers will have their best playoff season since their 2004 playoff run.
